As you may have heard, the main lodge of Maplelag Resort in Callaway, Minn., home to 森林湖・Sēn Lín Hú, our Chinese Language Village for the past 10 summers, was destroyed in a fire in early October. Our team has spent the last several weeks planning our next steps for this Village community that is so important to our organization.

In the fire, 森林湖・Sēn Lín Hú lost all of its culturally authentic materials, printed curriculum and program supplies that were collected and built over its almost 40-year history. As a result, we have created a 森林湖・Sēn Lín Hú Cultural Fund, with a goal of raising much-needed funds to replace and rebuild our Village supplies. 

These critical funds will help us build back and represent an incredible legacy of shared experiences with thousands of villagers, families and staff!
