What a journey it has been! Last March we were busily preparing for another language- and culture-packed summer at Concordia Language Villages. But that didn’t happen. To be honest, not much went as planned last year. For the first time in our 60-year history as a non-profit organization, our Villages were without villagers. Campfire rings were cold. Dining halls were silent. Songs didn’t fill the air and cabins went empty.
Through this darkness our guiding light, our “North Star,” has always been our mission: Inspiring courageous global citizens.
Our "It Takes a Village" Fund was establish to support the upkeep of our facilities, development of our innovative programs, and promote our unique offerings to the public during these challenging times. While we typically raise funds focused on scholarship support for villagers, this year we need to ensure our organization has the critical resources necessary to continue offering programs in the future. We are asking you, our Global Family, to stand side by side with us as we face these challenges together!
Can we count on you for a gift of $100, $250, $500, or even more to the “It Takes a Village” Fund today?
Through all of the hardship this past year has brought, we have persevered. Villagers are excited to return to camp this summer, both virtually and in-person, but we need your help to ensure the traditions of living the language at Concordia Language Villages are as strong as ever.
